Who We Are:

S.M.A.C.K. (Summer Music & Arts Camp for Kids), is a two week Summer Day Camp designed for young people from 3rd - 9th grade. Through workshops, rehearsals, and lots of fun, SMACK introduces students to the wonderful world of music and theatre. The most important lesson that campers learn at SMACK is the value of being part of an ensemble or team. Teamwork is the essential quality of great theater. Campers are able to be involved in every part of the theatre experience from auditions, to dancing, to stagecraft and of course performing. At the end of the two week camp, the campers present a high quality Broadway style show that demonstrates what the campers have learned during camp.

The SMACK staff consists of talented and educated personnel with many years of experience in the preforming arts. School teachers, artists, music director, recording artists and experienced actors all make up the staff of SMACK. Each team member is dedicated to providing a safe, exciting and educational experience for each student.

Purpose Statement:

At SMACK, we are committed to encourage and empower students to develop and use their talents and abilities in the arts through a creative and educational environment.
